We have a diverse workforce and all our care staff are encouraged and supported to gain qualifications to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or the QCF level 2 Diploma in health and social care within 12 months of employment.
All staff receive full training in line with the statutory requirements:

• Infection Control
• Food Hygiene
• First Aid
• Fire Safety
• Dignity in Care
• Person-Centred Care
• Safe Administration of Medication
• Equality and Diversity
• Greater Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
As well as these above training there will be other training offered to our staff to improve their knowledge in the care industry such as Dementia, Catheter Care, End of Life and any further training for our staff to safely care for newly identified conditions.
All staff have an induction period to include the mandatory training essential training and shadowing until they feel confident to work alone. All staff will also have to complete the care certificate within 12 weeks of employment.
A list of current staff and their qualifications is available on request and on display in the office.
All staff will have to obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record check and supply us with 2 references before any employment commences.
